- DESIGN PROCESS
Preparing Your Project:
I’ll need some photos of the area on your body to project the design onto your picture, so you can see how the tattoo will look on you. Please provide:
- Clear, straight-on photos of the area, with your body in a relaxed position. Multiple angles are helpful (3 to 5 pictures). It’s best if someone else takes them for you.
- I’d love to see the references you like from my work, but feel free to share any other inspirations you have as well.
- Preferred dates or days of the week(Mondays and Tuesdays are appreciated).
To design your project, I charge $200.
Once the payment is made, we can move forward with scheduling.- This payment can be made through Venmo (@philornamental) > Please include your name for reference.
- I usually send the design 2 days before your appointment for review and possible modifications if needed.
- SESSION DETAILS
I typically work in full-day sessions, which include 6 hours of tattooing.
I also work with additional hours for longer sessions(this option is usually helpful for clients from outside the city, since we can work longer hours and reduce the number of days/sessions) or if your tattoo doesn’t require a full day to complete.
I highly recommend reserving your entire day so we can work comfortably and without rush.
If you’re unable to complete the full day, the full-day rate still applies.Contact me, and I’ll let you know how many sessions you’ll need and provide my rates.
Please note: all payments must be made in cash.
- PAYMENT
At the moment, I’m not accepting credit cards, but we can plan everything around your schedule to work with your budget.
Some of my clients prefer more than a month between sessions, and others do 2 days in a row every time—it’s totally up to you!So, at this time, I accept CASH only.
The $200 amount for the design can be through Zelle/Venmo(PayPal-for foreigners) if we have just an online consultation – if in person, please, do it in CASH!
Session payments are due at the end of each session.
- APPOINTMENT
I usually schedule my clients for 11:30 AM.
Please do not drink alcohol prior to your session – this may cause excessive bleeding during the session and cause an issue with the healing process.
Make sure to be well-rested before coming into the appointment and eat a meal beforehand to prevent low blood sugar issues.
I ask you to shave the area that is going to be tattooed in the comfort of your home before coming to the studio, while taking care not to cut yourself.
Make sure to wear comfortable clothing that helps with the tattooing process and remember that I will be using pens, stencils, and lots of black ink. Wear something you don’t mind getting dirty. I always recommend wearing black.
If you want, feel free to bring your food and snacks, or you can order delivery. Tattoos are much less painful, and I will be able to work more proficiently when your body is nourished and fed. Generally, all shops have a refrigerator and a microwave available for use at any time.
Bring your water bottle. The studio provides drinking water to refill bottles.
- TATTOO AFTERCARE
This aftercare is how I like to work. I’ve tested many methods over time, and this one works best for my tattoos. Please read it carefully and follow my instructions – they’re very easy, by the way! This way, if you have any issues with healing, I can track them easily and help you find a solution. But if you decide to follow your friend’s advice or search on Google, you might get confused and end up doing something that isn’t good for your type of tattoo, making it harder to pinpoint the problem. Again, my method is simple to follow. And as always, if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to me.
- Carefully remove the bandage after 24 hours.
- Gently wash with warm water (not hot) and soap. I recommend using “Dial Antibacterial,” but you can use a neutral soap. First, wash your hands, then wet the tattoo with warm water. Create a foam with your hands and gently apply it to the tattoo, making sure to wash the entire area. Rinse completely and dry with a clean towel or paper towel.
- Do this for 3 days, 2-3x a day (no more than that).
- On the 4th day, continue the same routine but begin applying a thin layer of moisturizer/lotion. I recommend to use Bloom Elixir Tattoo Butter (So good and SD local!!), Hustle Butter, or Lubriderm fragrance free. Don’t apply too much – just a thin layer to keep the skin soft and prevent it from being overly dry like before.
- Don’t force the peeling process.
- Keep your tattoo clean and avoid contact with rubbing surfaces like clothing.
- If possible, keep me updated on the healing process, and feel free to contact me anytime through email or any social media
